Had Luis as a Server. Get knowledgeful and explanatory of the dishes. The ceviche was good and I even stole some of my Girls rotisserie chicken burrito, BOMB!!! Definitely coming back every time I'm in HLP
I'm always excited to try a new Peruvian spot! My first experience at Rosty was amazing. There's times where I can't decide between the Lomo Saltado or the Tallin Verde & at Rosty you don't have to!! You can enjoy a plate they offer with a little bit of both. It's the perfect portion & easy to share as well if you want to try additional menu items. The servers are always making sure you're doing good & enjoying everything. 10/10 recommend trying this if you love Peruvian food!
My Peruvian friends and family really like Rosty for authentic Peruvian food. I've had several meals here and find the food to be well prepared, tasty, and generously portioned. They have an expansive Peruvian menu with almost every category of cooking that you might be interested in (stir fried noodles, rices, ceviches, appetizers, stews) and amazingly, they're all done well. In my visits, I've tried the tallarin de res, tallarin de pollo, aguadito (salty), causa, papa relleno, Jalea (love this, huge portion), ceviche clasico, Ceviche Mixto, and Lomo saltado. Don't skip drinks. I was a huge fan of the maracuya which is so fruity and refreshing, and the tropical tea.
Probably the best Peruvian food I've had in LA. We started with La Cops Nostra. An interesting dish with fried seafood and Cerviche. It was tasty. We both had Saltado. I had chicken and my wife had the seafood. We enjoyed it. Was very flavorful, but we both thought it was a little oversalted for our taste. The servers were helpful. Sitting in the comfortable dining room I appreciated the vibe. A diverse mix of people and great Latin music. Worth bookmarking for next time.
Quick service. Some of the best food I've ever had! Best ceviche ever for sure! 10/10 can't wait to come back!
